Sunday 3-8-26 with Pastor Chris
This powerful message invites us to rediscover the Holy Spirit as our divine compass in daily life. Drawing from John 16:5-15, we're reminded that Jesus promised the Holy Spirit not as a distant helper, but as an intimate companion dwelling within us. The Trinity is beautifully explained: God the Father is love itself, Jesus Christ embodies grace, and the Holy Spirit brings fellowship and real-time guidance. We learn that the Spirit's primary mission is to guide us into all truth, convict us of sin without condemnation, remind us of God's righteousness through Christ, and assure us that Satan has already been judged and defeated. The oil in the parable of the ten virgins represents the Holy Spirit—we cannot borrow someone else's spiritual experience; we must cultivate our own intimate relationship with the Spirit. This message challenges us to move beyond simply accepting salvation as a transaction and instead surrender daily to the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to unwrap the full gift of Jesus in our lives. When we invite the Spirit each morning to lead us, comfort us, counsel us, and strengthen us, we position ourselves to walk in divine power rather than fleshly striving.
